I studied first German language and literature at Tartu University, then Eastern European Studies at LMU Munich. Now I work at the Eastern Europe department of Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (Bavarian national library), where among other topics I deal with Estonian literature. It is important to me that I keep strong ties to my homeland, and I am very pleased I can contribute to presenting Estonian film culture in Munich.

For 19 years Munich has been my adopted home. Since 2000 I have been chairperson to the Estonian ethno-cultural community in Munich, since 2007 founding and board member to the Estonian Saturday school Munich and since 2011 one of the active organisers of the Estonian film festival in Munich. I work in Human Ressources. Being very interested in culture, I aim to help give an understanding of my home country and its great artists through these films.

I teach Estonian at European School Munich and Estonian Saturday school. Having been fascinated with visual arts for a long time, I like to assist in providing insight into the exceptional Estionian culture.
